A Provocation 2 Thought

Don’t believe everything you read, hear or see (even on this site). Most of the “news” in print, on the radio, and on television is commentary. Not NEWS. Even the “facts” in a story are usually presented in such a way as to leave you thinking as the writer. Sometimes the “facts” are made up, or so distorted they no longer resemble the truth. My goal is to provoke you 2 thought. Read between the lines. Glean truth from many sources. Then… Think for yourself. Make up your own mind.

Vote! (Is it too much to ask?)

For most of us our country asks very little. Obviously there are the taxes and regulations we all must deal with in everyday life.

But we ALL have a say in those taxes and regulations when we vote for legislators who will write them. We ALL have a say in how they are to be enforced when we vote for sheriffs, mayors, governors, and presidents. We ALL have a say in how they are to be interpreted when we vote for judges and those who appoint them.

It took me less than ten minutes to vote today. It may take you an hour. But think about it, is ten minutes, an hour, even several hours once a year too much to ask of you to influence so much?

I certainly do not think so. I hope that the vast majority of Americans don't think so.

Think for yourself!

Make up your own mind!
